F1554 Grade 55-S1 Anchor Bolts

F1554 Grade 55 Anchor Bolts are manufactured from a mild steel and are commonly used in steel buildings and light pole construction. They have a higher yield strength of 55 ksi, than standard A36 of F1554 Grade 36 (36 ksi). Our F1554 Grade 55 is all weldable (S1 supplement) and is commonly refered to as F1554 Grade 55-S1. Per the F1554 Standard Section 6.4 when a Grade 36 is specified, a weldable Grade 55 (Grade 55-S1) may be substituted at the manufacturer's option. If you select the welded nut option a welded nut will be tack welded in 2 places 1/2" from the bottom of the bolt and Dimension D will be 2" Threads.
